I tried many apps to transfer data and pictures from my smartphone running android 11 to my new tablet running android 14, none of them seemed to work as expected. After a little research I found the free app send anywhere. It literally sends anywhere using an encrypted session and an access code.
Simply choose to send or receive data and the opposite on the other device. Choosing send creates a session code that must be entered on the receiving device. I used it to also transfer data from my laptop to the tablet...
A great app and free which is what should be the case on android devices IMO!
